Soil Candy's Humic Acids are a highly concentrated source of humic substances that are ideal for use in houseplants and vegetable gardens. In soil, humic acids bind with nutrients, creating a greater attraction to roots. Simply put, they deliver soil nutrients to plants.

Carefully mined from one of the world’s richest deposits, Soil Candy Granular Humic Acids are derived from the ancient remains of decomposed organic plant materials…ancient compost. They should always be included when creating new soil blends to boost overall plant performance.

Instructions

Houseplants and Containers:
For new plantings, add 1-2 tsp per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 1-2 lbs per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tsp per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.

Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds:
To prepare new gardens, apply 1-2 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. For new transplants, add 1 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water in well.

Lawns:
In spring and fall, apply 10 lbs per 1,000 square feet and water in well. Results may be enhanced if applied following aeration. For new lawns, apply 10 lbs per 1,000 square feet and mix into top 3″ of soil before seeding or sodding.
