Use Soil Candy’s high-phosphorus Seabird 0-11-0 guano throughout the flowering period for all indoor and outdoor plants. Strawberries, melons, vegetables and all types of flowers will benefit from mid-season applications to improve yields, quality and flavor while also enhancing the beneficial bacteria activity in your garden soil.

As one of the three big nutrients for plants, phosphorous plays a role in both root and bloom development, which helps produce high-quality fruit and flowers. Phosphorus helps plants take to new soil by boosting root development. Strong root development means plants will grow faster and be healthier because they can absorb more water and nutrients from the soil. You will have larger carrots and potatoes, and flowers will produce bigger blossoms.

Soil Candy Seabird 0-11-0 guano can be mixed into garden soils and potting mediums or applied as a side dress throughout the growing season.

For Scale:

1 lb feeds about 4 plants for 4 months
3 lb feeds about 12 plants for 4 months

Instructions

Containers:
For new plantings, add 1-2 tbsp per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 2.5-5 lbs per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1 tbsp per gallon into the soil surface once each month during the growing season.

Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds:
To prepare new gardens, apply 2.5-5 lbs per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of soil. For new transplants, add 1-2 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water in well. To feed established plants, side dress 1-2 oz once each month during the growing season to promote fruiting and flowering.

Liquid Preparations:
Add 1-2 tbsp per gallon of water and let steep up to 48 hours agitating periodically. Apply the solution directly to the soil around plants or filter and apply as a foliar spray. Be sure to use all of the solution once it is prepared.

WHAT IS "N-P-K"?

NITROGEN (N) - Nitrogen is necessary for lush, green, leafy growth. An excess, however, will promote vegetative growth at the expense of fruit or flowers. Nitrogen is generally applied at higher concentrations in early growth stages. Use Soil Candy Bat Guano.

PHOSPHORUS (P) - Phosphorus will promote big, bright blooms and enhanced fruit production. Phosphorus is essential for fruiting, flowering, strong root growth and quality seed development. Use Soil Candy Seabird Guano.

POTASSIUM (K) - Potassium, or Potash, helps produce strong sturdy plants and quality fruit. Potassium naturally increases a plants resistance to all types of stress and is vital for cell growth and carbohydrate metabolism. Use Soil Candy Kelp Meal.
